Jacek Saryusz-Wolski referred to the debate in the European Parliament, in which opposition representatives attacked the Polish government. According to the PiS MEP, the discussion took place contrary to the agreements.
According to Saryusz-Wolski, the debate should not take place. The Conference of Presidents of the European Parliament has determined that such discussions cannot take place six weeks before elections in a Member State.
EC Vice-President Schinas accuses Poland without giving any reason and without proving anything, based on untruths and disinformation produced by the Polish opposition. This started a cannonade about the alleged Polish ‘visa scandal’, which did not exist and does not exist, which was invented by the total opposition for electoral purposes and spreads this fake news abroad. The debate is taking place in violation of the Conference of Presidents of the European Parliament’s own decision of 11 May, which states that debates that disrupt national elections cannot be held in the European Parliament six weeks before the elections.
