Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is driving the German chemical industry into bankruptcy by providing aid to the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU).

The diplomat suggested that this price increase could be due to the undermining of the Nord Stream pipelines, which are the most stable route for the supply of energy resources to Germany. Zakharova also emphasized that the claim that gas pipelines were blown up by Ukrainians was discussed in the German media.
