“I believe that in these difficult times, Law and Justice is the party that best implements Polish demands and national interests. Law and Justice is a strong army, Law and Justice is a struggle for a sovereign, independent state within the European Union,” said Robert Bąkiewicz, PiS candidate for the Sejm, in an interview with Maciej Wolny on wPolce.pl television..
PiS guarantees the security of Poland
Robert Bąkiewicz emphasized that Law and Justice guarantee Poland’s security. Therefore, he decided to run for election from the list of Jarosław Kaczyński’s party.
I believe that in these difficult times, Law and Justice is the party that best implements Polish demands and national interests. Law and Justice is a strong army, Law and Justice is a struggle for a sovereign, independent state within the European Union. (…) This is a party that Polish patriots, but also nationalists, everyone close to Poland, should simply vote for
– emphasized Robert Bąkiewicz.
The candidate for the Sejm also pointed out that there is a “completely foreign perspective” on the other side of the political stage.
That the Civic Platform is said to be a pro-German party is a fact. Destruction of the army, submission to Russia, submission to German policy within the European Union – this was the piece by piece giving away of Polish sovereignty.
– said Bąkiewicz.

Tusk’s march
When asked about his assessment of the turnout at the Tusk March in Warsaw, Bąkiewicz pointed out that if a million people took part in the event, it would mean that “every year a million people gathered at the Independence March in Warsaw, and in 2018 you could easily say 5 million people.”
This is of course incorrect. I tried to see this meeting from different perspectives, looking at photos and videos. In my opinion it is between 100,000 and 150,000 people. The actual number is between 120 and 130 thousand. (…) What city hall says is an attempt to save the disaster. An attempt to salvage the defeat that Donald Tusk suffered in the streets of Warsaw yesterday. The mobilization was enormous and lasted several months, and they had access to mainstream media. Despite this, they managed to gather relatively few people. This means that Tusk has lost this march

Will Bąkiewicz sue Holland and Stuhr?
The conversation also related to an interview that Bąkiewicz gave to the portal wPolityce.pl. In the conversation, he revealed that he planned to sue actor Maciej Stuhr and director Agnieszka Holland over an excerpt from the film “The Green Border”, in which Stuhr talks about the “Nazi march” in Warsaw.
The entire film is a lampoon that attacks Poland, Polish uniformed officers, the Polish state and just Poland. It is inexcusable to call the participants of the Independence March Nazis. This shouldn’t happen. The explanation that it is a fictional film and that it is fiction is incorrect. This is very clear from the context. (…) This week we are filing a lawsuit and we will also try to secure this material. I hope you will be successful in court
– Robert Bąkiewicz said in an interview with Maciej Wolny on television wPolsce.pl.
