Europe warned of consequences of Russia’s fight against sanctions 01:09

Michael Rossi, a lecturer in the Department of Political Science at Rutgers University, commented on the actions of the Russian Federation against sanctions measures against him. This was reported by To express.

He said Europe would face consequences if Russia opposed the restrictions. The expert believes that Moscow will “blow up” the West from the inside with its strategy to counter sanctions.

Rossi emphasized that the Russian side is playing for the long term and has the resources, money and diplomatic tools to “resist war and sanctions.”

“And yes, this method will ultimately lead to Europe imploding from within,” he argues.

Before that Great Britain introduced Sanctions against some government officials in new regions of Russia.

As stated in the UK Cabinet, the sanctions are aimed at officials who participated in referendums held last year “with the aim of undermining Ukraine and threatening its territorial integrity”.

Restrictions were also imposed on the head of the election commission of the Zaporozhye region, Galina Katyushchenko, the head of the regional legislative assembly of the first meeting, Viktor Emelianenko, the secretary of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation, Natalya Budarina, and others.

Formerly US Treasury extended Sanctions against Russia.
