“Germany wants to ‘share’ the problem it has with immigrants with other European Union countries, because it does this with every internal crisis it has. They abuse their dominant position in the European Union to place their problems on the shoulders of others,” said PiS member Izabela Kloc in an interview with wPolityce.pl about the EPP’s intention to end the migration and forced relocation pact the European Council. on October 5.
wPolityce.pl: Germany is accelerating its return to pushing through the migration pact – with its forced relocation mechanism and penalties for countries that don’t agree to it. How should these German actions be evaluated?
Izabela Kloc: I rate them on different levels. One of the most obvious reasons for the ‘acceleration’ of immigration is Germany’s helplessness. Eight years ago, Chancellor Merkel opened the gates of Europe to everyone on her own and without any consultation with the EU partners. Videos of immigrants thanking “Aunt Angela” began circulating in billions of views around the world, forever perpetuating the myth of the European Union, and especially Germany, as a country where money is given for free. The Germans simply cannot cope with this problem, hence the activity of Weber and his local vassals.
A second purpose of this operation cannot be ruled out either. Germany and France are increasingly demanding that the EU treaties be changed, under the pretext that there is no other way to admit new members of the European Union. The escalation of the immigration problem could be a new argument for proponents of building a single EU state. There will probably soon be political blackmail and media calls to federalize the EU as quickly as possible, because without central government we will not be able to deal with the immigration problem. In the meantime, the immigration problem can be solved in a simple way: it is necessary to make it as difficult as possible to enter Europe illegally. Poland on the border with Belarus showed how it can be done effectively.
We already know that the aim is to finally push this “important regulation” on managing the migration crisis through the EU institutions on October 5. Are the details and specific solutions already known?
The pact provides mandatory solidarity that is de facto based solely on relocation or financial sanctions for not accepting migrants. This solution will only deepen the crisis by further weakening Member States’ ability to protect their borders. Moreover, the pact does not solve the problem of illegal immigration itself. It in no way discourages human smugglers and their clients who decide to make a deadly journey through the Mediterranean Sea or the Belarusian forests. The migration pact does not solve the problem and will become a new problem.
Everyone sees what is happening in Italy, Sweden and France. Where does – in the opinion of your MEP – come from this policy of filling Europe with people who are mentally and culturally alien, which is also suicidal for Germany?
This is indeed suicide for Europe. In Sweden, the matter has become so serious that authorities want to deploy the army to ensure the safety of their citizens. The next step may be to establish a state of emergency. This is the price Sweden pays for left-wing utopias and multicultural policies.
Sweden wanted to be a model country, built on the so-called open society, and has become a closed trap for its citizens. A few years ago, Prime Minister Jarosław Kaczyński warned of such a development, but was ridiculed by the Polish opposition and European ‘elites’. Now the Prime Minister of Sweden himself speaks in a much more dramatic tone and no one laughs anymore.
The Germans are going this route. Women are afraid to go to the swimming pool, and warring ethnic groups regularly organize battlefields in the neighborhoods of big cities. Integration and assimilation have become empty slogans.
Germany wants to ‘share’ this problem with the other countries of the European Union, because it does so in each of its internal crises. They abuse their dominant position in the European Union to place their problems on the shoulders of others.
Has the question of adopting the pact – according to MEP Jacek Saryusz-Wolski – already been decided?
In the European Council, all that is needed is a qualified majority, and the pact’s supporters have this majority. Both the European Commission and the largest EU countries are determined to show that they are responding to the crisis.
This whole operation is primarily about saving the image of the political groups that dominate the EU. No one is under any illusion that transporting immigrants from one place to another will solve this entire problem. Unfortunately, the EU’s current political elites are unable to respond to this invasion as the situation demands. They are unable to provide Europeans with a basic sense of security.
