“We have no concerns about Russia’s territorial claims,” ​​Tokayev said.

He added that Moscow and Astana once marked the border between the two countries. It was also approved by the Russian and Kazakh parliaments.

As Tokayev said, there is a tradition of cooperation between the two states in the humanitarian field and trade. At the same time, 10 years ago the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan signed an agreement on allied relations.

Also during the press conference the president said About Kazakhstan’s readiness to increase the volume of oil exported to Germany. According to him, Astana has supplied 500 thousand tons of fuel oil to the territory of Germany through the Druzhba pipeline since the beginning of 2023.
