Total Tax Management will apply a discount at the rate applied to provincial municipalities for the administration and collection of taxes and tributes, which will save more than half a million euros in the municipal coffers. The Board of Directors of the organization unanimously approved the reduction of the total tax collection rate during the volunteer period from 2.3% to 2.2% for the remainder of the year. This measure must be approved at the plenary session of the Alicante Provincial Council.
Carlos Mazón, head of the state agency, said, “Thanks to a strategic management of resource optimization and the level of efficiency that Suma has achieved after a commitment, innovation and digitalizationWe are in a position to reduce what municipalities pay to the institution for the management of their taxes.”
In this sense, he detailed that this reduction, which will affect the administration of taxes such as IBI, IAE or IVTM, will save municipalities approximately 588,000 Euros in 2022 this year. be able to meet other needs, such as the execution of projects to improve its facilities, and municipality services”.
