Ukraine allowed to lowercase the word “Russia”

The National Commission for State Language Standards of Ukraine has decided that capitalizing the words “Russia” and “Moscow” in unofficial documents will no longer be considered an error. This was reported by Policy referring to the department.

As Politico writes, capitalizing the phrases “Kingdom of Moscow”, “Russian Empire” and “State Duma of the Russian Federation” will also not be considered a deviation from linguistic norms.
