I have answered hundreds of questions at press conferences, I was not afraid of any questions, but Donald Tusk is simply afraid of difficult questions. I feel sorry for him because it proves his weakness, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said.
The head of government was asked on TVP Info about Tuesday’s sharp exchange between PO leader Donald Tusk, Platform politicians and TVP journalist Michał Rachoń. It took place in front of the TVP headquarters on Powstańców Warszawy Square, where the PO leader made a statement. Rachoń started asking a question out loud about Tusk’s conversations with Angela Merkel from years ago.
Morawiecki was asked, among other things: about this situation he replied that Tusk was “just scared”.
At press conferences I answered hundreds of questions from TVN and other media that play the same music as the Civic Platform – there is no problem with it, I was not afraid of questions.
– said the Prime Minister.
And Tusk is just scared. Today he showed the same in Kępno. As soon as a certain gentleman started asking him uncomfortable questions, he booed and turned off the microphone. Take a look at my meetings with residents. Residents sometimes ask me very difficult questions, these questions are asked spontaneously from the floor, and of course I answer them
– Morawiecki noted.
As he noted, “We obviously didn’t manage to do everything in eight years.”
We should apologize for any mistakes, and we do, but don’t be afraid of difficult questions
– emphasized the head of government.
Meanwhile, Tusk, who escaped difficult questions here, clearly shows that he is still afraid of these difficult questions. I feel sorry for him because it really shows his weakness
– said Morawiecki.
Prime Minister: World-quality weapons are manufactured in Radom
World quality weapons are manufactured in Radom; I am happy that more and more products are being exported and that the Polish army finally started ordering them during our regime; We will do everything to ensure that Polish industry is at a world level – said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the arms factory in Radom.
Morawiecki visited the “Łucznik” weapons factory in Radom on Wednesday, where, among other things, Grot carbines were supplied to the Polish army.
You wouldn’t want to hear what I heard about past attempts at liquidation, division, underinvestment and lack of capital. That has now changed. There is a large domestic production of weapons, which is necessary to ensure that the Polish army is as well armed as possible
– said the Prime Minister after a meeting with factory representatives.
I want the Polish army to have, above all, effective, modern weapons, but also Polish weapons – wherever possible. Therefore, I am happy and congratulate the employees and management for the fact that we manage to export more and more products – and we could, as I heard 5 minutes ago, export even more, but in the end the Polish army started to to order. more and more Polish products
– he declared.
Morawiecki judged that the quality of “Łucznik” products is “really the highest”.
This is incredibly important to us, because we know that in order to not have to defend ourselves, we must have something to defend ourselves with; you must have enough good quality weapons to deter your opponent
– said the Prime Minister. As he noted, on the one hand, these are the Grot and Beryl guns manufactured in Radom, but also the Piorun anti-aircraft launchers, Krab gun howitzers and Rosomak armored cars produced by other factories.
This is a European weapon of world class and world quality
– said the Prime Minister. He added that domestic weapons factories provide employment in individual regions.
There must be local work, there must be as much work as possible – because when work seeks people, wages rise, and that is what we want.
– said Morawiecki.
As he added, he spoke many times with local PiS politicians “how to further invest in the ‘Łucznik’ factory in Radom.”
So we are done with these plans of sale, liquidation and closure
– he said. As he noted, the Radom plant has the most modern weapons production equipment and experienced employees.
I can say that as long as there is a Government of Law and Justice, we will invest in the Polish arms industry and we will do everything we can to ensure that this industry soon becomes truly world class, because it truly deserves it.
– said the Prime Minister.
“We want the quality of life in Poland to be comparable, regardless of where someone lives.”
We do not want residential areas – where many millions of Polish families live – to become a second-class place, Poland B; we want the quality of life in Poland to be comparable regardless of where someone lives, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said in Radom, presenting details of the ‘Friendly Housing Estate’ program.
The seven points of the “Friendly Housing” program include: the addition of elevators in apartment buildings, the construction of car parking spaces and garages, thermal modernization of buildings, renovation of electricity, gas, water and sewage installations, solar photovoltaics on the roofs of apartment buildings, improving the acoustics of apartments and green architecture. The program would last ten years and the costs in the first year of operation would be at least PLN 5 billion.
Many millions of Polish families live in residential areas built fifty years ago, sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less. We do not agree that they should be a second class country, Poland B – as the PO liberals said. We want the quality of life in Poland to be comparable, regardless of where someone lives
– said Morawiecki at a meeting with the residents of Radom.
He pointed out, among other things, that some proposals under the “Friendly Housing Estate” program are related to energy efficiency.
Thermal modernization of apartment blocks would deliver significant heat savings, meaning lower bills for residents, meaning more money in their pockets. The same goes for photovoltaics: on the roofs of these residential areas all over Poland we have tens of thousands of hectares that can be used. This can also mean a reduction in electricity and heating costs
– emphasized the Prime Minister.
