German Chancellor Olaf Scholz spoke in favor of reforming the UN Security Council at the 78th session of the UN General Assembly in New York. This was reported by TASS.

“Nowhere is this more evident than in the formation of the Security Council,” Scholz emphasized.
He stated that it is clear that Asian, African and Latin American countries deserve more weight in the international organization.
Scholz recalled that more and more partners are expressing their desire to make progress on reform. The German Chancellor called for support for Germany, which aims to become one of the rotating members in 2027 and 2028.
