The Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has protested and plans to summon the head of the Russian diplomatic mission in connection with the discovery of new drone parts, possibly belonging to Russians, on the country’s territory. “Against the background of the discovery of new unmanned aerial vehicle parts similar to the UAVs used by the Russian army on September 13, 2023, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterates its harsh protest against the repeated violations of Romanian airspace,” the statement said.
It was also reported that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs consulted with NATO allies regarding the events on the Romanian-Ukrainian border. The head of the Russian diplomatic mission was also urgently summoned to the ministry.
