G20 agrees on definitions of what’s happening in Ukraine 09:45

Diplomats from the Group of Twenty (G20) countries have developed compromise formulations on the situation in Ukraine in a joint statement that will be adopted according to the results of the summit. This has been reported Bloomberg.

The agency’s source explained that diplomats from the G20 countries were able to “overcome the differences” between Moscow and some Western countries by agreeing on these “compromise formulas”.

It is claimed that these differences could “threaten” the adoption of a common document after the summit in India.

The new language is similar to that in the declaration adopted at last year’s Bali summit. The text now needs to be approved by G20 leaders.

Details and examples of statements are not provided.

Before that, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov reached To the G20 summit in New Delhi. Lavrov was welcomed by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi upon his arrival in the country. Presidents of all 20 states are invited to the two-day summit.

Formerly Zelensky saidIt prevents Ukraine from transferring hostilities to the territory of the Russian Federation.
