Platforma Obywatelska’s latest election ad about the PiS government’s migration policy sparked outrage and consternation among politicians on the left. Member of Parliament Anna Maria Zukowska expressed her surprise and dissatisfaction on social media.
The recording that Platforma Obywatelska posted on social media refers in critical terms to PiS’s migration policy. She accuses the United Right government of allowing a quarter of a million immigrants into Poland and is now trying to politically play the referendum issue.

Criticism from the left
Outrage over the Civic Platform’s story has already been expressed, among others, by Maciej Gdula, MP from the left. Soon after, Anna Maria Żukowska took the floor in the debate on the change in approach to immigrants by Donald Tusk’s party, who compared the idea of the video of the PO to the idea of the Confederation. The left-wing MP described the recording as “disgusting, anti-human, racist and xenophobic”.
Oh, the Confederacy’s new election spot has arrived!
– Żukowska wrote on Twitter and posted a video from Platforma Obywatelska.
Żukowska also addressed the politicians of the Green party on Twitter, who are going to the elections together with PO as part of the Civic Coalition.
And how are you @Groenen? No human is illegal?
asked Zukowski.
Disgusting, anti-human, racist and xenophobic
added the MP in another message.
