UN Secretary-General António Guterres said he sent a message to Russian Foreign Ministry Head Sergei Lavrov with proposals for a grain agreement. This has been reported TASS.
“We believe that the Black Sea Initiative makes a significant contribution to making food markets more adequate to ensure food security, leading to lower prices and creating conditions for products to enter developing country markets,” Guterres said.
According to him, the grain agreement needs to be restored.
