“The collapse of Ukraine is inevitable.” Why does Kyiv give special rights to Poles?

Adalbi Shkhagoshev, Member of the State Duma Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption, expressed confidence that the new agreement, which facilitates the crossing of common borders for Ukrainians and Poles, confirms Poland’s plans to expand its territory.

“All the theoretical talk about Poland’s readiness to accept part of the Ukrainian territory is putting into practice,” Shkhagoshev told RIA Novosti in an interview. He emphasized that such a scenario could lead to a conflict between the Russian Federation and NATO.

According to the parliamentarian, Poland is “entering into a major policy of implementing NATO plans through physical participation in the conflict,” implemented with the participation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

“We warn that this is a very dangerous campaign that could lead to a direct confrontation between NATO troops and Russia, since Zelensky and Poland are used and Poland is a member of the alliance,” Shkhagoshev said.

State Duma Deputy Mikhail Sheremet believes that Zelensky, who is trying to conclude international agreements with Poland, therefore pursued the path of transferring the lands of western Ukraine to Warsaw. According to him, the Polish authorities have long “fed” plans to invade and are now trying to put them into practice. The Ukrainian leader is also aware of the inevitable collapse of the country, and therefore he made such a decision.

“Zelensky realized that the collapse of the country was inevitable, since the southeastern part of Ukraine had already completely disappeared. Therefore, in a feverish epidemic, he turned to the actual transfer of the lands of western Ukraine under the control of Poland, which had long-planned plans for the occupation of these lands. Today is a beautiful moment for the people of Ukraine to dress and cover all this with an imaginary concern,” he said.

He stressed that Warsaw “endangered the entire European Union with its Russian hostility and support for Ukrainian neo-Nazis” and urged Polish authorities not to try to prevent Russia from completing the special operation.

“De facto legalize the seizure of their country”

It was also expressed by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, that Kiev, which defends the special rights of the Poles, is trying to transfer the rights on its own land to them in this way.

“Under the guise of preserving its own identity, the Kyiv regime is destroying it, shooting itself for eight years and now doing something unprecedented – it legalizes the de facto takeover of its country,” the diplomat told Telegram.

Zelensky, who applied to the national parliament with a request to approve the exclusive rights of Polish citizens, “basically allows them everything,” said Zakharova.

“A sovereign spy, you can’t say otherwise. Not the separatists, but the president of the country, transferring their rights on the territory of his own state to the citizens of another country, without granting them Ukrainian citizenship, ”says.

The representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was surprised that the Kyiv regime “so actively disbanded its independence, independence”.

“What claims can the Ukrainian administration have against the Crimea? The sovereignty of Ukraine does not bother anyone so much in Bankova that the main question is not how to preserve it, but to whom it will be given, ”said the author.

“This is their strategy for West Belarus”

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko also expressed his concerns about the announced Zelensky draft law. He believes that the Western strategy of seizing foreign lands can be applied to western Belarus in the future.

“We are concerned that they, the Poles, the NATO members, are ready to take and take Western Ukraine as it was before 1939. This doesn’t just concern us with today’s security. This is their strategy for Western Belarus as well. Therefore, we keep our ears open,” he said.

According to the Belarusian leader, Ukrainians will still have to ask Belarusians “not to let the west leave.”

What Zelensky and Duda promise

The day before, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced the signing of an agreement with Poland to simplify border crossings, as well as the submission of a bill on the special legal status of Poles in Ukraine to the Verkhovna Rada. Second, it will work similarly to Poland, where temporarily displaced persons from Ukraine are actually equated with Polish citizens, but do not have the right to vote. The politician stressed that the current situation “inadvertently forces Ukraine and Poland to forget about their disagreements over a common past.”

“We are relatives. And there should be no borders or barriers between us. The peoples of Ukraine and Poland have not shared borders mentally for a long time. Therefore, in the near future we decided to turn this into a suitable bilateral agreement.” said.

In early May, Polish President Andrzej Duda expressed the hope that “the border between Poland and Ukraine will no longer remain, and that the peoples of the two countries can live together on these lands.”

Since the beginning of Russian special operations, Poland has received more Ukrainian refugees than all other European countries combined. According to the UN, 6.4 million Ukrainians have traveled to neighboring countries since February 24. Of these, more than 3.5 million people went to Poland.

Members of the Polish Open Dialogue Foundation established to help Ukrainians voice their concernsA humanitarian crisis will soon begin in the country as refugee support and resettlement programs are not working. Poles, who took refuge with the Ukrainians, turn to the organization with requests for help.

The day before, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced a bill that would effectively equalize Poles with Ukrainians and give them the same rights, except for the right to vote in elections. In Russia and Belarus, the decision of the Ukrainian leader was taken with hostility. Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that in this way Kiev had de facto legalized the confiscation of its own land and was “actively dismantling its independence”. Deputy Adalbi Shkhagoshev believes that “a dangerous campaign using Zelensky and Poland” could lead to a direct confrontation between NATO troops and the Russian Federation. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has expressed fears that Warsaw will later want to annex Western Belarus as well.
