Another phosphorus bomb exploded over Barwinkow, Russian shelling is underway through Izium, and the fighting for Lyman is still ongoing – that’s it from the Slavic section. It is much worse between Siewierodoniecki and Bachmut, where the Russians even managed to take the road from Lisiczańsk to the southeast for a while. Popasna’s loss, however, turned out to be more serious than commonly believed.
Off the map
But the map itself doesn’t tell you everything about the war that goes on behind the scenes. Meanwhile, according to the information obtained by the portal wPolityce.pl, the attacks of recent days have cost many Russians. And so two brigades (25th and 9th), despite Ukrainian resistance, refused to participate in further fighting, since the order meant their own destruction and the infantry near the village of Stawy (behind Lyman) was unfit to fight , although the troops had just arrived there from … Chita (near the Mongolian border). Only 47 people remained in one of the Russian regiments that attacked Bakhmut.
The Russians were also forced to send heavy equipment from Chuhuyev to the Slav direction – this makes the Russians even more exposed from the northwest. Low morale is also caused by appalling conditions – in places where the fighting lasts a long time, the corpses of the fallen, which the occupiers do not take and do not assign for burial, rot and give off a strong odor, which has disastrous consequences for the mental state from the living room. Such ostentatious organizational negligence is due to several other facts that poorly testify to the invaders’ condition—neither the officers nor the soldiers care about burying the bodies, and they do not identify with the case or with the fallen. In the units, repression has been decreed against those who refuse to attack, reminiscent of the reality of World War II as pronounced by Stalin.
The battle for Donbass continues
Those who have already attributed the win to both sides are wrong. Ukrainian officers directly say that the intruder’s only advantage is simply unbelievable quantity heavy equipment, especially artillery and tanks. From the perspective of a witness to the local events, one can risk declaring that artillery from western allies has finally arrived here. Until now, the defense of Donbas has been fought by Ukrainian forces, albeit with massive intelligence support from the US.
The battle for Donbass continues. Perhaps morale here will prove to be an absolutely crucial factor – probably even the Russians from Putin’s cave will eventually find someone here sending them to an absolute slaughter, and maybe even a washing machine or a toilet bowl isn’t worth a thoughtless attack.
