People remember that during the reign of Ewa Kopacz they could only count on a catch – this is how Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki referred to the words of the former Prime Minister, who said that instead of 500 plus a fishing rod, the PO government gave no fish.
It is about a statement during the Poland of the Future Campus in Olsztyn. Former Prime Minister in the PO-PSL government, Ewa Kopacz, when asked about the 500 plus program said:
Instead of more than 500, we gave a fishing rod, not a fish, increased the number of places in nurseries and kindergartens, built highways, eagles for children.
Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki referred to these words on Twitter on Saturday.
Ewa Kopacz, when asked about 500 plus, says something about rods and fish – but the people themselves remember best that during her reign they could only count on a catch
– wrote the head of government.
Debate of former prime ministers
During the debate with former prime ministers, Justyna Dobrosz-Oracz, who led the discussion, reminded Ewa Kopacz of the conference where she said that there was no money for PLN 500 in the 2016 budget. The journalist asked if she regretted afterwards that she had not taken part in this auction in the 2015 elections?
Also remember that instead of more than 500 we gave a fishing rod, and no fish, i.e. we increased the number of places in nurseries and kindergartens, built highways, highways and eagles for children, so these were things that seemed very important to us in the past . the time and important
replied the former prime minister.
She assured that today she can look in the mirror with complete peace of mind because, as she said, she left the public finances in very good shape and the state budget without excessive deficits.
Not only that, we have given people the right to decide what is better for them: you want to work, you can send your child to a nursery or kindergarten, you want to go to school where you get free textbooks or your child to a private school. We were open to proposals that my ministers did not politically process
– she said.
