If the democratic states of the free world help Ukraine defend itself and maintain its independence, freedom and international law will prevail, President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda wrote on Twitter on August 24 on the occasion of Ukraine’s Independence Day.
Today, Ukrainian Independence Day has a particularly symbolic dimension. Russian aggression is a credibility test for the democratic states of the free world. If they help Ukraine defend itself and maintain its independence, freedom and international law will prevail
said the president.
Duda stressed that if Ukraine drowns in the darkness of Russian occupation, violence and evil will prevail.
Poland has always been on the side of freedom and independence. Poland stands behind a free and independent Ukraine!
he assured.
On August 23, Ukraine will celebrate the 32nd anniversary of its independence.
