Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko described Europe’s policy as forward-thinking and congratulated Brussels on the Belgian National Day, informs »BelTA“.
“In recent years, our countries have been actively expanding bilateral cooperation, especially in the trade, economic and humanitarian fields, and this, of course, contributes to the well-being and development of both peoples. Unfortunately, our relations are currently going through a difficult period due to the narrow-minded policy of the European Union towards Belarus,” said Lukashenka.
He urged Belgium, and European institutions in general, to abandon the policy of conflict for the sake of peace on the European continent.
