Kyrgyzstan’s Ambassador to Ukraine Idris Kadyrkulov was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on Thursday, 20 July, claiming that he received assistance from the Russian Federation in overcoming the sanctions. As stated in the Foreign Ministry’s message, they asked Kadirkulov for “information that Kyrgyzstan’s jurisdiction is being used to circumvent sanctions against the aggressor country Russia”. The ministry claims that this is mainly the supply of dual-use products and high-tech components and products that can be used to make weapons. The Kyrgyz Ambassador was informed that Kiev would consider the re-export to the Russian Federation of goods that could be used for military equipment as a hostile act.
