July 10 marked the 82nd anniversary of the murder of Jews in Jedwabne. Today we celebrate the 80th anniversary of the so-called Bloody Sunday – the culmination of the genocide committed by Ukrainian nationalists against Poland. Did Donald Tusk say or write anything in connection with any of these anniversaries? Nothing!
The publicist Estera Flieger drew attention to Tusk’s silence.
Just like last year: on Donald Tusk’s account there is not a single mention about Jedwabne’s birthday (yesterday), nor any mention about Volhynia – today or in recent days. Yep, that’s exactly what happened last year
wrote the journalist on Twitter.
Internet users responded to Flieger’s entry.
Because cool Poles from big cities are not interested in such subjects, they are too worldly and modern for that. It’s not his target. PDT says very little about the war in Ukraine, maybe not at all, these topics are electorally and politically unnecessary
Already in the years 2007-2015, Donald Tusk proved that he treats historical politics marginally and is consistent in this to this day
Tusk, aside from gatherings of a purely celebratory nature (gatherings, club outings), has absolutely no activity, does nothing, and his entries are essentially limited to poor-quality allegations against PiS.
