The CBA has arrested the deputy mayor of the Praga-Południe district, Adam C., said Dr. Robert Sosik of the CBA’s press office on Wednesday. He added that it was an investigation into corruption crimes.
I confirm that today the officers of the CBA Regional Office in Warsaw detained Adam C., who was acting as Deputy Mayor of the Praga-Południe District Office. The detainee was taken to the Warsaw-Praga District Prosecutor’s Office, where he will be charged

He added that the proceedings are currently underway.
The deputy mayor’s detention was confirmed by Praga-Południe district spokesperson Andrzej Opala.

He also confirmed that the CBA agents also detained Jacek G., the head of the architecture and construction department of the Praga-Południe district office.

Extraordinary session
PiS district councilors want to convene an extraordinary session in connection with the arrest by the Central Anti-Corruption Office of Adam C., vice mayor of Praga-Południe, and Jacek G., head of the architecture and construction department of that office.
This is another case of this kind in Warsaw. As a club of councillors, after consultation with the representative of Law and Justice in Warsaw, Member of Parliament Jarosław Krajewski, we will demand that an extraordinary session be convened.
