I would like someone to bring a Nobel Prize for scientific work in Poland to the Presidential Palace, President Andrzej Duda said at the award ceremony. The nomination by the head of state was received by, among others, presidential adviser Andrzej Zybertowicz, as reported by the National Security Office on Twitter.

The presentation of the nominations of professors
On Wednesday, at the Presidential Palace in Warsaw, President Andrzej Duda handed out the nomination papers to more than 50 academic teachers, as well as to science and art workers.

– said President Andrzej Duda. It added that it is a summary, but it is by no means an end.
This is a challenge for the next stage of research work, the next achievement, the next research, teaching and other activities

The president also shared his dreams for the professors.

He added that “our people all over the world are practicing science.”
He hoped that research would be increasingly funded. He called for courage to break through the blockages that arise when one strives for a great discovery.
He also called on professors to demand of their students and encourage them to break the patterns.
Help them so that they can break through it, that they can feel this freedom, the real freedom of learning, that they can just think freely. He always laughs that if Copernicus felt shackled then perhaps to this day we would think that the earth is supported by hell from below and covered with heaven from above and flat
