NATO Secretary General assesses the risks of a nuclear threat from Russia

Jens Stoltenberg, Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance, said that there is currently no threat to Russia’s nuclear potential. It has been reported Reuters.

“NATO allies are watching Russia’s actions closely. So far, we do not see any change in Russia’s position on nuclear weapons deployment…” added Stoltenberg.

According to the NATO Secretary General, there is currently no action by the Russian Federation requiring the intervention of the alliance.

Stoltenberg also pointed out that although there is no reason to change NATO’s stance, the countries participating in the bloc remain vigilant.
