NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that after meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, Turkey agreed to include Sweden in the military-political bloc in the near future. Words lead the way Bloomberg.
“Erdogan agreed to send the protocol regarding Sweden’s accession to the Turkish Grand National Assembly for approval as soon as possible,” said the Secretary General.
According to Stoltenberg, this is a “historic” day.
