The PiS election program will, on the one hand, diagnose the current situation, and on the other hand, summarize our successes and achievements, and there were many of them, said Jarosław Kaczyński, Deputy Prime Minister and President of PiS, in an interview for the i.pl portal. Our program is for the next eight years, because we need a longer perspective – he added.
The president of PiS announced that PiS plans to present an extensive program after the holiday season.
We want to prepare it well
he announced.
What is the new program about?
When asked what the election program of Law and Justice will focus on, he replied that “on the one hand, he will diagnose the current situation”.
On the other hand, it will summarize our successes and achievements, and there were many. Then — and this will probably be the most interesting — is our program for the next eight years, because we need a longer perspective
Kaczynski emphasized.
To attention that it sounds like Law and Justice want to rule not one, but two terms in office alone, the deputy prime minister replied:
Yes, that’s what we want, God willing, and longer.
In our program we will refer to individual fields, to their future, to how they will develop. In general, our program will aim to get Poland clearly higher in all European and world rankings than it is now.
he stressed.
We want these indicators to translate into the standard of living of ordinary Poles. Today we have 80% of the average GDP in the European Union, but when it comes to the standard of living, for example, I already have 86%, so we have overtaken the Czech Republic. We are on track to catch up with many Western European countries, but we need to be consistent and stay on track
Kaczynski added.
As he noted, “it doesn’t have to be a very long way.”
In eight years we should be 100 percent. walk or come very close. However, our goal is not 100 percent, but our goal is the level of Germany, and even those countries that are richer than Germany. All this is very real because we have potential. However, we need to make efforts in several areas: starting with education, which translates into the potential of the economy, increasing productivity, supporting investment and development, and ending with strengthening the Polish armed forces
PiS leader noticed.
He admitted that this is happening “and it is also a matter of very great effort”.
We are convinced that we will manage all of this, as long as we gain social legitimacy
he assured.
Historic shot
Finally, there is the last part of the program, which refers to the next phase in our history, namely the coming decades. It consists of two parts, ie retrospective, which refers to what we call Poland’s recovery. For example, what the Germans are doing at the moment, rebuilding several monuments that were destroyed during the Second World War. We want Poland in the future, but this is a very distant perspective, to look like there was no Second World War, but also
– stated Kaczynski.
He reported that the second part “is a future element, which is the further development of a state-of-the-art economy.”
Taking advantage of the fact that there is a lot of potential in the minds of Poland, especially young people. Finally, we want to use it so that young people do not go out into the world or do something that is below their capabilities
– added the president of PiS.
In summary – on the one hand it will be a reference to Poland’s history and our values, but on the other hand – a push towards the most modern economy and a position in Europe that will arouse respect and respect from other countries
he said.
I’m not saying we have a chance to join the G7 group, but let me remind you that Canada, with 38 million people in this group,
noted Kaczynski.
According to him, “Poland can really be a very important country, which will translate into the situation of every Pole, both here in Poland and when he is abroad.”
This is a perspective – as the last eight years of our reign have shown – which is perfectly feasible, but it must be socially legitimized. However, we are aware that there are various forces, including from the outside, that are doing everything they can to prevent this
– noted the Deputy Prime Minister.
When asked whether PiS is busy drawing up electoral lists, he does not answer that yet. When asked if PiS would go to the election with coalition partners within the United Right, i.e. Sovereign Poland, the Republican Party and OdNowa, Kaczyński assured that he would. He admitted that Paweł Kukiz would also go to the elections together with Law and Justice.
