NATO countries plan to announce a broad agreement to create a multidisciplinary structure to support Ukraine at a summit in Vilnius on 11-12 July. The newspaper writes about it Finance Times with reference to sources.

According to the FT, the agreement will create a “multilateral structure” through which Ukraine’s allies can assume bilateral obligations regarding military and financial support for the country. Sources said that the announcement of this agreement could be postponed until after the summit.

In the negotiations between the NATO ambassadors on 9 July, a consensus could not be reached in the statement of the leaders of the bloc countries. FT sources say this could be decided at the summit.

According to the publication, the summit will also announce that Ukrainian pilots have begun training to fly American F-16 warplanes.
