“We demand that the Małopolska Voivode enforce the law against people who break the law regularly on the 18th of every month near the Wawel Castle and provide mental and physical comfort for everyone! – stated in the petition addressed to the Voivode of Lesser Poland, Łukasz Kmita. Małopolska’s Inspector of Education, Barbara Nowak, encourages signing and emphasizes that Poles cannot be “passive to evil”.
Petition against demonstrations and blasphemy
On the eighteenth day of every month – every month of the funeral of the presidential couple Maria and Lech Kaczyński, who died in the Smolensk disaster – Law and Justice politicians come to Wawel. Just then, a group of demonstrators appears near Wawel, protesting against the PiS rule. Demonstrations are often filled with hatred and profanity.
A petition was published on the Internet addressed to the voivode of Lesser Poland, Łukasz Kmita. The magazine is a protest “against the cyclical demonstrations of hatred and vulgarity at the foot of Wawel Castle”.
We demand respect for the law and guarantee the safety of all persons in the vicinity of the meeting organized by KOD! We demand the liberation of space at Wawel from cyclical displays of hatred, vulgarity and rudeness! We demand that the Małopolska Voivode enforce the law against people who break the law regularly on the 18th of every month near Wawel Castle and provide mental and physical comfort for everyone!
– stated in the petition.
He encourages you to sign the petition. Barbara Nowak, Curator of Education in Małopolska.

President Lech Kaczyński and his wife Maria – along with 94 people, including many senior state officials and military commanders – were killed in the crash in Smolensk on April 10, 2010. The Polish delegation flew to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Katyn massacre .
Next to the sarcophagus of the presidential couple in the crypt of Wawel Cathedral, there is a plaque commemorating all the victims of the catastrophe of April 10, 2010 with the Latin phrase “Corpora dormiunt, vigilant animae” (“Body sleeps, souls remain awake”).
