US President Joe Biden said that the admission of Ukraine to NATO before the end of the conflict poses a direct threat of conflict between the North Atlantic Alliance and the Russian Federation. It has been reported CNN.

Biden believes there is unanimity in the alliance on whether Ukraine should now suddenly be admitted to NATO in the midst of the conflict.

He noted that if this is done, the alliance will remain committed to every inch of NATO territory and this is a commitment that will stand by the organization no matter what.

“If there is a war, then we all join it. If things were like this, we would be at war with Russia,” the US President emphasized.
