“This is absolute manipulation and a lie. Donald Tusk knows very well, because he was Prime Minister, how the legalization of work takes place in Poland, for example,” emphasized Agnieszka Ścigaj, Minister of Social Integration, in an interview with Maciej Wolny on the Telewizja wPolsce broadcast. pl.
Tusk threatens legal immigrants
Minister Agnieszka Ścigaj referred to the argument of Donald Tusk, who stated in a social media recording that the Law and Justice government wants to flood Poland with migrants from Muslim countries.
We are watching shocked scenes of brutal riots in France – and right now Kaczyński is preparing a documentary that will expose even more citizens from countries like, and I quote: Saudi Arabia, India, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Qatar, the Arab Emirates, Nigeria and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan will come to Poland
Tusk said.
Last year, Kaczyński brought more than 130,000 refugees from such countries. citizens – 50 times more than in 2015. These visas are easy and fast to obtain and are distributed by external companies because there are so many orders
said the leader of the PO.

Manipulation and lie from the head of the PO
Agnieszka Ścigaj pointed out that Tusk’s words are manipulation and a lie, and that the head of the PO himself knows how the process of legalization of work in Poland is going.
This is absolute manipulation and a lie. Donald Tusk knows very well, because he was Prime Minister, how work is legalized in Poland. Employment offices are approached by employers requesting work permits for various people who apply to them, but this does not coincide at all with what the Ministry of Interior and Administration issues when it comes to visas. This is definitely across data
– emphasized the Minister of Social Integration.
The politician pointed out that “the forced placement of people who come and in no way really want to work is one thing, and another is an agreement with the employer, government and employee to come to Poland and work here.”
These are two different things. This is a mixing of different facts, particular manipulation of public opinion and fomenting of various social unrest, which surprises me, because Mr. Donald Tusk and the entire Civic Platform have always had a very liberal approach to migration policy. So why, due to elections, are social emotions running high right now and trying to argue with us while we are fighting a war beyond our Polish border? There is always an incitement to social unrest
– noted Agnieszka Ścigaj.
Referendum move
The minister was also questioned about the referendum on forced displacement of migrants. When asked if she favors such a solution, she said the referendum should be a real tool.
I have been an absolute supporter of the referendum for years, I come from Kukiz’15. This was the main flagship project. I would like the referendum in Poland to become a real tool and for people to have the opportunity to express their views on various issues, especially such as the decision on admitting refugees to Poland. A referendum is a very good instrument, the most democratic one. I find it strange that parties that call themselves democratic are against an instrument that is absolutely democratic
– said Minister Agnieszka Ścigaj in an interview with Maciej Wolny.
