Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that on the eve of the alliance’s summit to be held in Vilnius on July 11-12, he had a telephone conversation with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and coordinated positions with him. He wrote this on his Telegram channel.
“We coordinated positions on the eve of the Vilnius NATO summit. Now is the time to take strong decisions and concrete steps in this direction.”
He also thanked Stoltenberg for his “continued personal efforts to support Ukraine’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations” and congratulated him on the renewal of the alliance’s leadership.
