Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the Independence Day of Belarus. Online Kremlin.

Putin described the ties of brotherhood and mutual aid that hardened during the Great Patriotic War as the key to strong relations between Russia and Belarus.

“This is fully confirmed today, when our countries are facing very serious external threats and challenges together,” said Putin.
