On Saturday (July 1st), 40 employees of the Russian Embassy in Bucharest left Romania. Members of their families left this country with them – about 80 Russians, reports TASSWith reference to the embassy of the Russian Federation.
According to the diplomatic mission, the Il-96 aircraft of Rossiya airlines, carrying out a special humanitarian export flight with Russians on board, took off from Henri Coanda airport in Bucharest. There is currently no regular direct air service on the Bucharest-Moscow route.
A number of embassy employees have already left Romania. Thus, the total number of Russians who had to leave this country as a result of the decrease in the diplomatic mission staff reaches 140.
