“I do not believe you [Pawła] Blacksmith for a serious man with whom I would argue. I remember different times, different personality. Perhaps the personality was the same, but the face was different” – this is the statement of the KO MP, who said that referring to Manfred Weber’s words is “frivolous”, PiS MEP Prof. Zdzisław noted Krasnodębski, who was a guest on television wPolsce.pl.
Manfred Weber, of course, speaks as head of the EPP. The astonishing thing is that he has no qualms about thinking that as chairman of such a party he campaigns in elections in individual countries
– said Aleksandra Rybińska’s interlocutor.
He believes that their PO is a partial organization
– noted Prof. Krasnodębski.
German influences
The ECR MEP drew attention to who plays first fiddle in the European People’s Party.
It is an open secret that the CDU/CSU is the decisive hegemony in the EPP. This party has now been shaken up and is critical of Timmermans’ ‘green deal’. (…) They woke up because the “green deal” is now starting to affect German agriculture. It is a combination of national and European interests. The EPP, like the EU, is a means of pursuing national interests, and since Germany has the upper hand, the EPP is a tool – it certainly would not act in matters that would be against German interests
– said Prof. Krasnodębski.
The EPP is extremely frustrated that the socialists, the left, the greens are forcing certain decisions on it that are unacceptable, so it looks for partners on the right and it turns out that they are seducing those they recently labeled as alleged fascists
– noted a guest from TV wPolsce.pl.
Poland’s role
The main country is Poland. If [politycy EPL] if they want to work with the ECR, after our next victory they will have to work together on a partnership basis and give up some of their imperial ambitions – both the EPP and Germany. (…) With the marginalization of PiS, editor Michał Szułdrzyński’s scenario would be fulfilled, which should really be viewed very negatively by every Polish patriot, but editor Szułdrzyński or MP Kowal somehow don’t really care about such things
said the PiS MEP.
Prof. Krasnodębski called Szułdrzyński “Pawel Blacksmith of Polish journalism”.
More or less the same evolution, the same political and intellectual trajectory
he said.
