We’ve made a reset in thinking about running the country. Besides the reset taking place in geopolitics and the global economy, this is the only reset Poland needed, says Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in the latest episode of his podcast published on Wednesday.
In the new episode of his podcast, the Prime Minister points out that the past few years have been a time when the world has been turned upside down.
But you can also say there was a reset and the world started to fall back into place
he noticed.
He admitted that we are currently in a time where the world is looking for a new balance.
He wouldn’t have been looking for her if he had been properly arranged
he said.
Our job, I mean the Polish government, is to actively cooperate in getting everything right
– added.
This is the biggest chance for Poland in at least 30 years to make a developmental leap, to move up to the economic and geopolitical competition of modern world champions
said Morawiecki.
The head of the Polish government also spoke about investments that are important for the country: Intel, which plans to invest $4.6 billion and employ 2,000 people in the semiconductor integration and testing plant near Wrocław, as well as about the start of production of polypropylene in the new Grupa Azoty unit at the police, and the budget of this project is more than PLN 7.2 billion.
The Prime Minister called Intel’s investments groundbreaking not only because of the value of the investment, which amounts to PLN 20 billion in the first phase.
This is a breakthrough when it comes to the type of investments in our country
he pointed it out.
Poland thus becomes one of the important links in the production chain of microprocessors – the building blocks of which the modern world is built
– added.
Morawiecki also said that the investment in Miękinia near Wrocław means the independence and security of Poland, but also of the whole of Europe, and personally supervised the development of the investment.
This investment would not exist in Poland without huge investments in infrastructure and security. It would not exist without our government and our country’s ever closer cooperation with the United States. It wouldn’t exist if we didn’t create good conditions for doing business in Poland. Finally, it wouldn’t exist without Poland’s reputation as a country of educated, talented and hard-working people.
he stressed.
The Intel factory near Wrocław is an example of an opportunity seized
– added.
One of the most important investments
Polimery Police, the Prime Minister called one of the largest Polish investments of the Third Republic of Poland and the first of its kind in Europe in 16 years, capitalizing on the shortening of supply chains and the use of opportunities that this brings.
Outside investment is extremely important for countries like Poland closing the development gap, but only they will not yield much if we do not invest in our development ourselves, if we do not cherish Polish capital
– said Morawiecki, adding that this is a fundamental change made by Law and Justice when they took over the government.
As the Prime Minister stressed, heading into the 2015 election, PiS set goals and presented a plan to achieve them.
It is impossible to rule without goals, without strategy
he said.
If you don’t have your own goals, your own strategy – there will always be someone to make sure you achieve theirs. We’ve made a reset in thinking about running the country
he assessed.
Aside from the reset taking place in geopolitics and the global economy, this is the only reset Poland needed
he said.
