“On matters as crucial as the Turn-of-Turn issue, they support [politycy opozycji – przyp. red.] decisions of the CJEU now also support the actions of Polish judges who do not take Polish raison d’etat into account,” former PiS senator Bogdan Pęk said on Polish Radio 24.
The German city of Zittau, the Czech and German branches of Greenpeace and the Frank Bold Foundation filed a complaint about the mining of lignite at the Turów mine. According to them, the exploitation of the mine poses a serious threat to the natural environment. The complaint of foreign ecologists was considered positive by the Provincial Administrative Court in Warsaw, which ordered the cessation of mining in Turów by decision of 31 May. Mateusz Morawiecki’s government strongly opposes the accusations made by environmental activists, while Polska Grupa Energetyczna intends to appeal the Warsaw court’s decision.

Clearly, the decision is coming from outside officials, who are ordering the closure of about 10 percent. energy production in Poland, which means throwing about 60,000 people is incredible. It is impossible to imagine further interference in Poland’s internal affairs
– said Bogdan Pęk on Polish Radio 24.
A game to overthrow the government?
Law and Justice politician Bogdan Pęk commented on the case of the Turów mine in relation to the energy policy of the European Union.
At the moment, Germans, regardless of whether they are socialists or conservatives, are doing everything they can to overthrow the Polish government, because it is a government that stands out for sovereignty, and not only the strength of the state comes from sovereignty, but also the wealth of the nation. They are trying to force Poland to act against the fundamental interests of the state and the nation. They have set up a camp of betrayal and denial here. In all disputes with the European Union, the European Commission and the European Parliament, their representatives are against Poland. In cases as crucial as the Turow case, they support the decisions of the CJEU, now they also support the actions of Polish judges who do not take Polish raison d’état into account
said Pek.
Tusk meeting in Jelenia Góra
Donald Tusk appeared before Civic Coalition voters at the market square in Jelenia Góra, where, in addition to his supporters, numerous employees of the Turów mine, including all local unions, were present. They used trumpets to drown out the PO leader’s speech and chanted slogans aimed at Tusk himself. The leader of the Polish opposition addressed the protesting defenders of Turów directly.
To those of you who today carry the flags of Solidarity and with the flags of Solidarity in your hands humming, shouting and whistling when the Poles sing the national anthem, I want to tell you that true Solidarity has never seen anything like it.
Tusk said.

German shoe
German politician and President of the European People’s Party in the European Parliament, Manfred Weber, in an interview for “Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung”, expressed the belief that only his party, whose MEPs are PO and PSL, constitutes a “firewall” and is capable of overthrowing the rule of law and justice in Poland.
In response to Weber’s outrageous assumptions, Bogdan Pęk stated that the sovereignty of the Polish state is under threat and that Polish society itself is divided in this regard.
The real sovereignty of Poland, acquired with so much effort and expanded in recent years, is under threat, everything that happens does not impress almost half of the nation
– expressed the opinion of the former PiS MP.
