A new aid package for Ukraine will be approved at the NATO summit to be held in Lithuania on 11-12 July. This was expressed by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in Vilnius. TASS.
“At the Vilnius summit, we will agree on a package of aid to Ukraine that will further strengthen our ties and bring Ukraine closer to the alliance,” Stoltenberg said.
It was not specified what would happen in the new aid package.
According to him, the allies agree that Ukraine’s place is in NATO.
He added that the membership decision will be made by Ukraine and the members of the North Atlantic Alliance, and that Russia has no veto power.
