A new wave of migration is underway; a referendum will be held on this; I call on everyone to say: we do not agree to the relocation of migrants – said Deputy Prime Minister, PiS Chairman Jarosław Kaczyński on Saturday in Bogatynia.
Call to participate in the referendum
At the meeting in Bogatynia, the head of PiS referred to the issue of refugee relocation. As he said, due to the lack of imagination of Western elites, a new wave of migrants is sweeping across the Mediterranean.
Perhaps major attacks will be launched – because they are already starting – on our border, in particular on the border with Belarus. We will defend ourselves, but we will not allow others to decide for us, which is why a referendum will be held
Kaczynski said.
A voice that counts in Europe
Do not forget that this Polish decision – because I know how it will be, I am sure – this Polish “no” will also be important in Europe
he said.
We want the support of the people. This will be very important on a European scale, a very important decision. I call on everyone who is going to take part in this referendum to put it succinctly: we disagree
– added.
The Deputy Prime Minister pointed out that, thanks to the PiS policy, Poland is not treated as a post-colonial state in Europe today, but is starting to mean something, co-decide and is treated as a subjective state.
