The former head of the Prime Minister’s Chancellery, Michał Dworczyk, pointed out on Twitter that Donald Tusk is lying about the construction of the Młoty power plant. “Frightening people with #fakenews, torpedoing investments in energy security,” wrote a member of the Council of Ministers.
Dworczyk showed several facts that disproved Tusk’s thesis.
It is NOT the case that residents have to move within 28 days and it is NOT the case that they receive a maximum of 5% compensation
wrote the minister.
The value of the property is determined through negotiations with the owner. In a negotiation fiasco, the value of the property is determined by an independently prepared report. The law specifies no compensation limits, the 5% mentioned by Tusk is an additional discount for handing over the property within 28 days from the date of receipt of the summons – however there is no such obligation
he noticed.

Not knowing the facts
The member of the Council of Ministers pointed out the lack of knowledge of reality among the politicians of the Civic Platform.
They want to rule the country, but they have no idea how the basic investment processes work…
– emphasized Michał Dworczyk.
He then addressed Donald Tusk directly.
Mr. Tusk, please be careful what the @Platforma_org local leaders whisper in your ear because they either lie to you or have no idea what they are talking about
– wrote the former head of the Prime Minister’s Chancellery.
PGE responds to Tusk
The Polish Energy Group also responded to the words.
@donaldtusk STOP #fakenews. There will be no “brutal expulsions” of Młoty residents
– we read on the official PGE Twitter profile.
Landlords are compensated for the market value of their property
emphasizes the group.
