President of Kazakhstan Kassym Zhomart Tokayev described the United Nations (UN) as the only universal global organization at the plenary session of the Astana International Forum. It has been reported TASS.
According to Tokayev, the UN Security Council needs to be reformed. The President of Kazakhstan also added that today the whole world is witnessing the undermining of the established world order that has existed since the establishment of the UN.
“The UN remains the only universal global organization that unites us all. But without comprehensive reform in the Security Council, we will not be able to meet the challenges,” he said.
