Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on his Twitter account that during a phone call with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, he gave him a list of needs to eliminate the consequences of the collapse and rupture of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power plant.

“They submitted a list of Ukraine’s urgent needs to eliminate the consequences of the disaster,” wrote the Ukrainian president.

Zelenskiy said that he also told Erdogan the human and environmental consequences of the collapse of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant and the risks of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant in this context.

According to him, Turkey’s voice is important when it comes to conflict resolution, the extradition of imprisoned Ukrainian citizens, especially Crimean Tatars, and the continuation and expansion of the grain enterprise.
