European Commission extends removal of import duties for goods from Ukraine for another year, reports TASS With reference to the EC statement.

It was noted that the European Commission has extended the temporary preventive measures that ban the import of wheat, corn, rapeseed and sunflower to Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia until 15 September.

Formerly European Commission (EC) Recommended Latvia will reduce the amount of energy support as it will help reduce the budget deficit. This was announced by Valdis Dombrovskis, Vice-President of the European Commission for Economic Affairs.

It is noted that there is no macroeconomic violation in the Latvian economy. However, with increased competitiveness and the availability of the workforce, great challenges arose. Therefore, it is now best for Latvia to improve the availability of finance for small and medium enterprises.
