Georgia calculates the amount of aid to Ukraine for 2022

According to Novosti.Georgia, the Georgian Council of Ministers presented its 2022 annual report, which includes government expenditures for aid to Ukraine. According to the portal, Georgian authorities spent about 38 million lari (about $14.5 million) to support Kiev and Ukrainian refugees living in the republic.

As noted, Georgia provides comprehensive assistance to Ukraine on the backdrop of the continuation of the Russian military special operation. The Georgian government claims it is about both political and humanitarian support.

At the same time, republican officials point out that more than 26 thousand Ukrainians living in the country have been helped. The Georgian government’s report highlights that Kiev is also supported internationally, including through Tbilisi’s participation in around 500 different declarations on the Ukrainian conflict.

As previously reported, in Georgia accused Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky takes a humiliating and unfair attitude towards the country.
