White House answers question about when Ukraine talks will start

Jake Sullivan, National Security Advisor to the President of the United States, said in an interview with the TV channel: CNNWashington has not set a timetable for negotiations to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.

According to this White House official, the gunfight is “unpredictable,” so it “will not set any timetable”.

“What happens on the battlefield will have a significant impact on what happens at the negotiating table. Sullivan, I’ll say it will end with diplomacy, as President of Ukraine (Vladimir) Zelensky said,” he said.
