The “Never Again” association, which reported to UEFA about referee Szymon Marciniak, posted a statement on social media in which the organization’s co-founder, Rafał Pankowski, stated that there were no demands to strip Marciniak of the position of referee. Instead of remorse and an apology for allowing them to destroy Marciniak’s career, the comment option under the post was disabled.
The controversy surrounding the 42-year-old Polish arbitrator arose in connection with the participation in a conference organized by one of the leaders of the Confederation, considered to be far right, Sławomir Mentzen. The letter about Marciniak sent the “Never Again” anti-discrimination association to UEFA.
UEFA announced that Szymon Marciniak will continue to referee the UEFA Champions League final, in which Manchester City will face Inter Milan in Istanbul on June 10.

Statement without apology
We positively assess Mr. Szymon Marciniak’s clear statement and are in direct contact with his representative
– we read in the statement.
The “Never Again” association has not postulated and is not proposing that Szymon Marciniak be withheld the referee of the Champions League final

However, the submission is being passed on and Twitter users are expressing their anger at the organization’s actions that could destroy the Polish judge’s career.
Why do you write that you “made no proposal” to replace the referee, since Mr. Pankowski directly states in your statement in English that UEFA “must take the consequences” if Marciniak “does not cut himself off”? You also RT a man demanding Marciniak’s removal
– emphasizes Pawel Rybicki.
