There will be another debate in the European Parliament on the Polish rule of law. This time the EU does not like the committee on Russian influence. “Even this week, the EP debate on the Polish law on the commission of Russian influence is possible. The pro-Russian initiators of Nord Stream I and Nord Stream II felt insulted,” PiS MEP Anna Zalewska wrote on Twitter.
The EPP (European People’s Party), the largest party in the European Parliament, has issued a statement condemning President Andrzej Duda’s signing of the law establishing a commission for Russian influence in Poland.

According to the group whose members include Civic Platform and PSL in the EP, this is a violation of the values of the European Union, as well as another attempt to destroy the rule of law in Poland and to fight the opposition through non-parliamentary means.
RMF FM radio correspondent Katarzyna Szymańska-Borginon referred to the issue of European Union interest to the Polish Commission on Russian Influence.
Possible blame in the EP on Lex-Tusk later this week. The application is submitted by the European People’s Party. He will no doubt be joined by the biggest demo groups in the EP. EPP: “We strongly condemn A.Duda’s decision (…) the law is a violation of the rule of law, contrary to the Euro values”
