Moscow hopes that Russian President Vladimir Putin will be able to properly attend the BRICS summit in the Republic of South Africa (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa), despite an arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court.

“We expect partner countries not to be guided by such illegal decisions,” the Kremlin spokesperson said during a briefing.
