The editor-in-chief of Gazeta Wyborcza joined the hysterical opposition. Adam Michnik expressed his frustration after the decision of President Andrzej Duda, who signed the law on the Commission of Inquiry into Russian Influence and referred it to the Constitutional Tribunal, in his diary. As he said, “Putin-Orban-PiS system will prevail in Europe.”
Michnik on “Polish Velvet Putinization”
President Andrzej Duda announced that he had decided to sign the law establishing the State Commission for the Study of Russian Influences on the Internal Security of the Republic of Poland in 2007-2022 and that he would submit it to the Constitutional Tribunal. Adam Michnik stated that “this is Kaczyński’s project for Poland, a Poland enslaved, fooled and degraded.” But it doesn’t stop there.
This is also his idea together with Putin or Orban for the future of Europe. The Putin-Orban-Pis system will prevail in Europe
– argued the editor-in-chief of “Gazeta Wyborcza”.
In his speech, Michnik stated that the act signed and addressed to the Constitutional Tribunal “is the Reichstag, as well as Stalin’s decisions on the intensification of the ‘class struggle’, along with the ‘building of socialism’ in the Polish version of Putinisation- velvet”. .
He argued that the law is terrifying to “all those who learned and remembered the taste of prison bread in the era of communist dictatorship”.
The chief “GW” “advises” rest
According to Michnik, everyone should now “say to themselves in their minds: I should be blocking the way for this nightmarish mixture of fascism and Bolshevism”. Wyborcza’s editor-in-chief also advised to remain calm.
This “lex Tusk”, Kaczyński’s idea endorsed by Duda, is a complete mockery of Poland, but these gentlemen are not Poles yet, they are a stark caricature of our nation’s history
– said Adam Michnik in “Wyborcza”.
In his speech in Połczyn-Zdrój, President Andrzej Duda left no doubt that it made sense to create a committee on Russian influence in Poland. He immediately emphasized that “it is rather Russian influence that could destroy Polish democracy, and not the committee that will control it.” As you can see, Adam Michnik and the opposition have a huge problem understanding these words.
