A bill was introduced to the State Duma that provides for an increase in fines for employers who hire citizens who are responsible for or subject to military service and who do not provide military registration documents. The document was published in the Duma electronic database.

The initiator was the legislature of the Kaluga region. It is recommended to separate such a violation in a separate composition in the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. The option of imposing a fine of 10,000 to 20,000 rubles for individuals, from 5,000 to 10,000 rubles for individual entrepreneurs, and from 50,000 to 100,000 rubles for legal entities is also being considered.

The authors also propose to strengthen the responsibility of managers not to inform the military commissariat about the employment of citizens who are not registered in the army. For this, it was proposed to increase the fine from 5,000 rubles to 25,000 rubles, now it has increased from 1,000 to 5,000 rubles. In the case of enrollment in studies, it is proposed to keep the amount of the fine.

The Russian government supported the bill with some comments.
