The draft proposes an institution known as the “test of impartiality and independence of a judge”, which gives every citizen – as the president noted – the right to have their case examined by an impartial and independent court.
The changes regarding, first of all, the Disciplinary Chamber of the Supreme Court are an element that the European Commission expects in the negotiations on the release of funds for Poland from the EU Reconstruction Fund, which will be spent under the national reconstruction plan.
